Geography of Mongols contribute their lives
The Steppe which is made of two main part which is western Steppe that approachs Eastern Europe and eastern Steppe that is present-day Mongolia provides Mongols people dry, windswept plain to supply their nomadic life which uses horses as basic transportation.
RIse of Mongol
The ultimate goal of Mongols is conquest. Around 1200 A.B., Leader Temujin made himself the title Genghis Khan. In next 12 years, conquered China and west Asian region where is controlled by Muslim made Genghis Khan controlled Central Asia. Tolerance to people from where Mongol conquered enhance their government authority because nomadic culture never teach them how to organize the country of wide rage of land. Therefore, instead of killing those people who from where they conquered, they adopted their culture and learned how to govern a kingdom.
Military of Mongol
As a leader of country, Genghis Khan was also a brilliant strategist. Nomadic life skills benefits them on conquering other kingdoms. Not only did horse provides quicker transportation, but also can soldiers ride horses in the wars. Firstly, Invention of weapons, stirrup, learning to drink horse blood and protection like under armor are also one of factor that made them raise and conquer almost whole asia. Secondly, Genghis Khan established a system to organize the large army. Also, his brilliant strategy like using a trick to let weak enemy go into their trap. In addition, their home, named Yurts, is movable small building that designed for portable war strategy.

The Mongol Empire
Genghis Khan died in 1277, his successor expanded the empire that covered through from China to Poland. By 1260, Mongol controlled almost the whole Asia include Kiev, China and Korea, Venis and Persia. Then they divided their huge empire into four region which is Khanate of Great Khan(Mongolia and China), Khanate of Chagatai(Central Asia), Khanate of Gold Horde(Russia) and Ilkhanate(Persia). Through 1200s-1300s, the whole empire enter their peaceful era which is known as Pax Mongalia.

Decline
Since the large range of land that they covered, the whole empire include different culture. The large regional and cultural difference boost the decline of empire because wide cause the inconvenience of transportation and contract of relatives. Also, Smaller army occupied in too wide land doesn't works for Mongol empire anymore.
